For over 16 years, Brad has had the privilege of serving at Ada Bible Church in Grand Rapids, where he's witnessed firsthand how God meets people in their everyday struggles and transforms ordinary moments into divine encounters.
Currently serving as a campus pastor, Brad has been teaching on the church's broadcast platform since 2014, with messages regularly viewed over 1,500 times, serving thousands across multiple locations each week.
Brad believes God shows up in our ordinary moments...in the chaos of family dinners, the anxiety of sleepless nights, and the questions we're afraid to ask out loud. His greatest joy is helping people discover that the God of the universe is intimately involved in their right now.
As a husband to his beautiful wife of over two decades and father of three boys, Brad understands the beautiful chaos of family life and brings that authenticity to every message he shares. He speaks from the heart, weaving together relevant stories, deep biblical truth, and an unshakeable belief that God cares about our struggles, meets us in our need, and has incredible hopes for our future.
Brad's teaching style combines theological depth with practical application, making complex biblical concepts accessible to everyone. Whether speaking to young adults navigating faith in a complex world or addressing multi-generational congregations, he connects with audiences through humor, vulnerability, and genuine passion for God's Word.
When he's not teaching, you'll find Brad testing his spice tolerance at local restaurants, battling Michigan winters (and losing), or attempting to keep up with his three sons, all of whom have now surpassed his height, much to his dismay. His journey from young adults pastor to campus pastor has deepened his understanding of how faith intersects with real life. Now as a parent of teenagers and approaching the empty nest stage alongside his wife, Brad is even more excited about what God has in store for this next season.
